YEOVIL TOWN boss Gary Johnson believes that on-loan Irish defender Shane Duffy is still learning the game after defensive errors saw the Glovers slip to yet another defeat.
Yeovil, who last week sold Ireland international Paddy Madden to Scunthorpe United, suffered their fourth successive league defeat when they went down 2-1 at home to promotion-chasing Burnley, and manager Johnson admitted his side contributed to their own downfall.
"I think Shane's got to work out what it was that made him make the mistake. He was a bit lax at the time and good teams shut you down. It wasn't our defence that cost us but two individual mistakes," said Johnson.
"Unfortunately it was Luke Ayling for the first one and Shane for the second one. What can you do about that? You can remind them about that but as long as they haven't let us down too many times – which neither have – then you just have to move on to the next one."
