Drogba keen on summer move to Rob's Galaxy

DIDIER DROGBA could line-up alongside Ireland captain Robbie Keane next season after the striker's agent claimed he would be interested in a move to LA Galaxy next summer.

It was revealed Drogba has snubbed Chelsea's offer of a one-year contract extension and vowed to "go where he is offered the most money" after turning down a loan move to AC Milan.

The 33-year-old Ivory Coast striker looks increasingly set to walk away from Stamford Bridge for nothing when his contract expires next summer.

And his agent, Thierno Seydi, is weighing up lucrative options including possible moves to America, Russia or Asia.

"Didier has had the offer of a one-year extension from Chelsea. That does not suit us. We know what we want, where we want to go and what offers we have," Seydi said.

"AC Milan came in for Didier on loan with an option to buy but I said 'No' straight away. Their offer did not interest us. At Didier's age, he has nothing left to prove as a player. He will go where he is offered the most money.

"LA Galaxy are a possibility among many others. He has been linked with Anzhi Makhachkala in Russia, as they pay well. But neither Didier nor I have had an offer from them."

Meanwhile, Roberto Di Matteo insists Andre Villas-Boas has not lost confidence in Fernando Torres as the Spaniard looks to end four successive games on the bench by starting against his former club Liverpool in tonight's Carling Cup quarter-final clash at Stamford Bridge.

Torres has failed to live up to expectations since his £50m switch from Merseyside in January.

The 34-year-old Chelsea boss could turn to the World Cup-winning striker for tonight's game, however, as he prepares to shuffle his pack ahead of a crucial month in the league and Europe.

Di Matteo said: "There are a lot of positive signs (with Torres). I know we all expect our strikers to score, but if they don't, you look at their performance in the team. We've been pleased. The goals will come, no doubt. He's got great talent and has scored goals before."
