DUBLINER Eoin Doyle achieved the personal feat of scoring a Wembley goal but he finished on the losing side in the Johnstone's Paint Trophy yesterday.

Chesterfield, with former Sligo Rovers manager Paul Cook at the helm and Dublin lads Doyle and Jay O'Shea in the starting XI, took on Peterborough United at Wembley, but the Posh led 2-0 at half time.

Doyle got Chesterfield back into the game with a goal on 53 minutes but Peterborough scored again from the penalty spot to run out 3-1 winners.
