Derry capture Houston

DERRY CITY have added another player to the squad for the 2013 season with the capture of Bray Wanderers man Sean Houston.

The former Finn Harps man caught the eye for Bray last season and now Derry boss Declan Devine has moved to bring the Donegal man back to the north-west.

"Sean is a quality player, who can play in a number of positions, but his best position is midfield. In my opinion he was Bray's best player last season, so I'm delighted to have got him," said Devine, who has also signed winger Pat Kavanagh from Shelbourne.

Derry will learn this week if they will lose David McDaid and Stephen McLaughlin to English clubs. Striker McDaid has reportedly been offered a deal by League Two side Fleetwood Town while Nottingham Forest are considering a bid for winger McLaughlin.
