KEVIN Doyle is in line to make his full debut for Colorado Rapids tonight.
The Ireland striker made his first appearance as a sub in last week's win over Vancouver Whitecaps and he's ready to start against Seattle tonight, a rare chance for Doyle to play on an articifial surface.
"It will be my first time since I played once in Russia about five, six years ago. I'll be fine and I'm sure I won't have any problems," says Doyle, pleased to get some game time last weekend. "I needed that time on the pitch to get involved."
Meanwhile, former Ireland U21 cap Kevin O'Connor has confirmed his retirement as he focuses on a coaching career.
O'Connor, who won six Irish U21 caps (2003), had spent his whole career with Brentford, making 501 appearances but he's now been forced to quit and he will join Lee Carsley on the Bees' coaching staff.
