YEOVIL TOWN boss Gary Johnson says he is so happy with the form of Irish midfielder Kevin Dawson that he would even marry the former Shelbourne man.
Dawson has impressed at Huish Park since moving there from Shels in 2012 and even though he has been out of the starting XI in recent weeks, manager Johnson has been singing the praises of the Coolock lad as Yeovil battle to stay in the Championship.
"He's a model professional. He gives you not one moment's trouble or aggravation. If he was a woman I'd marry him," said Johnson.
"But it's true, he's another model professional that you want around. He there when you need him and he's there when you don't need him as well – he's still with you, he's not cowering in the corner or being disruptive.
"He deserved his couple of games. With all due respect, it's probably a level he never dreamed of playing when he was in Ireland.
"He's there or thereabouts but just has to be a little bit more consistent on the ball.
"His energy and work rate are second to none."
