Crumlin United will aim to make their hiatus from the summit of the Senior Division a brief one as they take on Leixlip United at Armagh Road tomorrow.
The champions were dislodged from the top spot in midweek when the chasing pack reeled them in. Tomorrow, though, they can bounce straight back to the peak, providing they beat bottom side Leixlip.
The newly promoted outfit have managed just one win in their eight league outings and it doesn't get any easier tomorrow. They must attempt to halt a Crumlin juggernaut that has netted 28 times in their last six outings.
UCD v FIRHOUSE CLOVER
UCD was reeling last Sunday when bottom team, Sacred Heart, left Belfield with all three points. That defeat left College deep in the relegation mire and another Tallaght team, Firhouse, will look to compound their worries. Firhouse, though, have blown hot and cold this season and College can steady their campaign with a draw. Verdict: Draw.
CRUMLIN UNITED v LEIXLIP UNITED
The form that Crumlin are in at the moment would worry any side. Leixlip are in for a torrid afternoon if the champions don't get too complacent. Martin Loughran, though, has been around too long to let any notions of complacency seep into his squad. Verdict: Home Win.
CHERRY ORCHARD v BLUEBELL UNITED
These old foes continue their rivalry and as always this will not be for the faint of heart. Both could do with the points, but for different reasons. The Orchard haven't won in the league since September and are slipping towards the drop zone while the 'Bell are in danger of being cut off from the leaders after winning only once in their last four. This will be ding-dong battle that the 'Bell could just shade. Verdict: Away Win.
WAYSIDE CELTIC v GLEBE NORTH
Celtic recorded a huge win last week away to Phoenix and they will look to build on that fantastic result. Glebe will look to make it as difficult as possible for the Celts and may just nick a draw. Verdict: Draw.
