City back in the race

IT'S official! Squeaky bum time has arrived and Roberti Mancini now understands exactly what Alex Ferguson meant when he coined the phrase.

"Now I know what squeaky bum time is," said Mancini after Carlos Tevez shrugged aside months of aggravation and non-cooperation to help Manchester City nail down a crucial comeback against Chelsea which places Ferguson's posterior firmly in the hot seat.

"After their goal it was feeling like squeaky bum time," said Mancini with a smile.

"Carlos did well and I am happy to see him back playing for us.

"He will get better because he is not 100 per cent fit at the moment. I have spoken with Carlos every day over the last six weeks."
