Celtic wait as no date set for Sion

A date is still to be determined for the hearing into whether |FC Sion breached a transfer embargo, UEFA said today.

Celtic suffered a 3-1 aggregate loss to the Swiss side, who |have five players in their squad who are, in the eyes of FIFA, ineligible to play in the competition.

Portuguese club Maritimo, meanwhile, claim an agreement in principle has been reached with Celtic for the sale of |23-year-old Senegalese striker Baba Diawara.
