CELTIC are reported to have turned down a bid from newly promoted Hull City for striker Gary Hooper.
The Premier League club are said to have offered an undisclosed fee of £4.5million for the Englishman.
Celtic rate the hitman to be worth at least £7million.
But he only has a year left on his contract and has plenty of suitors after a storming season with the SPL champions, ending with 31 goals in 51 matches in all competitions.
Crystal Palace co-chairman Steve Parish, meanwhile, has stressed the club have had no contact with 22-year-old Vitoria Guimaraes striker Amido Balde. Parish said: "We haven't made an offer. It is a total fabrication."
