Keith Long will give a chance on the first team stage today to some of the youngsters in the Gypsies' in-form academy outfit.
Bohs take on Peterhead, from Scotland's fourth tier, in their first-ever experience of the Irn-Bru Cup today in Scotland (3pm), the Gypsies entering the competition in place of Bray Wanderers.
Long has left first team players like Shane Supple and Dan Casey at home to give them a rest. Bohs won the U19 league in midweek and players from that squad, such as Seán Bohan, Ali Reghba and Ryan Graydon, have been promoted to the first team squad for this trip.
"It's important we try bring players through and we've shown we will give them an opportunity when it's right for the player and the team," Long said.
"But we have approached the game professionally and we are looking forward to it. We're putting out a team we believe capable of going there and getting the result."
