Aiden: I want to see out career at Celtic

AIDEN McGEADY says he wants to see out his career back in Glasgow in the colours of Celtic.

The Ireland international (below) welcomes his former club to Russia tonight as Celtic take on Spartak Moscow, McGeady's Spartak desperate for the three points after they began their Champions League campaign with a defeat to Barcelona on the opening day last month.

"My family are still in Glasgow. When I left Celtic I had an idea that some day I would go back there, maybe at the end of my career, Celtic will always be in my heart," says McGeady, who showed that he's now very much at home in Moscow by answering in Russian when asked about facing his former club tonight.

"Tonight my friends are playing for Celtic, but for 90 minutes they're not my friends," he told the local media in his adopted language.
