£20m Watt - Teenage star nets golden goal for Celtic

TEENAGE sensation Tony Watt lit up Parkhead with a goal which could lead to an astonishing £20m payday if Celtic can make it to the Champions League knock-out stage.

Just one more point could be enough to lift Celtic's season into the realms of fantasy and Watt was quick to pour praise on manager Neil Lennon.

“It's an unbelievable moment for me and everyone at the club. It's a brilliant achievement for the manager,” said Watt.

“He picked his team perfect and he's brought me on and I've scored. Perfect.

“His team talk was inspirational, but it always is.

“I just took it in my stride and put it away. I had to treat it as I would've any other game.

“It's my job and I've got to put those kinds of chances away.”

Lennon was remarkably calm after the game for a man who had just masterminded a smash and grab raid on the best team on the planet.

“The players are heroes, they are heroes to me. I can't speak highly enough of their performance and they will go down in the history books of the club as the team who beat probably the best team in the world,” said Lennon.
