THE pre-competition favourites Terenure confidently disposed of a real quality opponent in King's Hospital 43-19 on their first day.
Ireland U20 full-back Billy Dardis's brother, Sam, manned the same jersey and totted up a hat-trick, one better than superb outside centre Adam La Grue.
There is plenty of steel in the forward mill too, led by number eight Conor Shenton.
League winners Castleknock will look to their number eight Cian Clancy to guarantee the gain line.
They should be much better for the experience of beating CBC Monkstown 21-10 first time out

St Michael's v Belvedere, Donnybrook, Monday (3.0)
THE manner of St Michael's 50-0 whitewash of Wesley revealed little in terms of how far they can go in the Junior Cup.
They have pace in the back division with centre Dave Ryan and full-back Redmond Kelly with enough size and dynamism up front from flanker Scott Penny and number eight Dan O'Donovan to feed them.
The question is what will happen when they come under the kind of intense pressure Belvedere will apply. Belvo' had impressive individuals in ball-handing prop Johnny Bell and hooker Luan McGrath, fly-half John Meagher, centre David Hawkshaw and captain Harry Beggy from their 20-0 domination of St Gerard's.
VERDICT: Belvedere
