Leinster boys aiming for a sixth successive FAIS triumph

LEINSTER will be looking to make it an incredible six titles in a row this weekend when the FAIS Boys Interprovincial tournament comes to the capital, writes Gavin Earley.

NORTH Dublin's AUL Complex will host the three-day competition that pits the best players from the four provinces against each other.

The host province have incredibly won the last five events - 10 out of the last 11 - and will be hoping to see off Munster, Connacht and Ulster yet again.

Manager John McShane looks to have some pretty impressive options at his disposal as Leinster kick-off against Ulster at 4pm tomorrow, before the draw for this weekend's action.

Malahide Community School's Dylan Cashin played a pivotal role in his school's Leinster Cup and League success last year, as well as their impressive run to the All-Ireland final.

He is joined in the squad by Salesian College student Dylan Kavanagh - who represented his country at schoolboy level during the summer - and Kevin O'Connor of St Peter's College in Wexford, who featured in the Ireland U-17 trial process.

Also keep an eye on Jamie Goonery, Palmerstown, and Clayton Stafford of Collinstown Park Community College.
