Ulster to undo Best Dragon intentions

Ulster v Dragons, Ravenhill

All eyes will be on Ulster captain Rory Best as he makes his return to the Ulster jersey for the first time this season. He will find The Dragons in unusually awkward mood in Belfast as their coach Paul Turner has built up their confidence.

The Welsh region enjoys less of everything than their better fed compatriots -- less financial resources, less support, less international players and a lesser profile. It has been their place in this world to do as they've been bid, to play out the season looking up at their neighbours. So far, they have refused to accept their fate, moving above Cardiff and the Scarlets in the table. Ulster have to be ready to deal with this fired-up Dragon. Of course, the northerners have been making strides of their own, especially in Europe, where they played their best rugby against Bath in the final pool match.

Verdict: Ulster.
