Terenure tog out at Tymon Park

Terenure College RFC played their first game on their new Tymon Park pitch recently when their under-13 side took on Suttonians.

Having a pitch in Tymon Park is part of the club's Vision 2020 programme, as they seek to be one of the strongest community-based outfits in Ireland.

The new pitch will help ease the pressure on Terenure's grounds, as the club now boasts nearly 500 mini players, and will also field an extra junior side this season. A set of rugby posts were kindly donated by the school, and with the help of a number of members and players from the junior sides, both sets of posts were securely put in place. The club is now looking to play a number of games at its new Tymon Park ground. Special thanks must go to the South Dublin County Council for all their help in securing the pitch.
