Ireland's Rhys Ruddock could be a doubt for the start of the Six Nations.

The flanker (above) left The Aviva Stadium on Saturday evening to have an X-Ray on his arm in an injury that could resemble that of Leinster's Ben Te'o.

Ireland will begin the defence of their Championship away to Italy on February 7th and that will leave Ruddock with little wriggle room should a fracture be confirmed sometime this afternoon.

It places in even heavier doubt his participation in rounds five and six of the Champions Cup.

Leinster are caught up in a real three-club race in Pool Two for the European quarter-finals.

Wasps yesterday closed to within one point of the Irish province and Harlequins with a bonus-point victory over Castres.
