Emerging Ireland coach Allen Clarke is "concerned" about Rhys Ruddock's forearm after an injury that could threaten the flanker's World Cup hopes, writes Des Berry.
The Leinster man has already endured two operations on a fracture to his arm this season and any further damage could jeopardise his immediate future.
"He is a resolute young man and I'm sure he will bounce back," said Clarke.
The Irish moved to within one match of winning The Tblisi Cup with a comfortable bonus-point 33-7 win over Uruguay. Cian Kelleher was a debut try-scorer beside Andrew Conway, John Cooney and Ben Marshall, the fifth coming from a penalty try.
The Irish will meet the hosts Georgia in the decisive match on Sunday.
