Reddan sweats on ankle 'review'

LEINSTER scrum-half Eoin Reddan will wait on what Ireland team manager Mick Kearney called a "specialist review" to find out the extent of an ankle injury. He is in doubt for Fiji on Saturday.

LOCK Paul O'Connell will play no part in the November internationals and his near future is an uncertain one as he works his way back to full fitness with a bulging disc injury that has already required multiple injections.

There must be serious worry about an injury that forced Ireland full-back Rob Kearney to have surgery two weeks ago and a 12-week break from the game.

Flanker Stephen Ferris' progress from significant ankle ligament damage has been slow. He continues to receive intensive treatment in camp. He is not expected to make the Argentina match either.

Second row Donnacha Ryan and prop Cian Healy were cleared to train fully in the aftermath of blows to the head which required neurological tests during and after the South African match.
