O'Donnell gets deal until 2016

IRELAND flanker Tommy O'Donnell has signed a two-year contract extension that will keep him at Munster to the summer of 2016.

At present, Munster's 2012/2013 Player of the Season is recovering from a knee injury and is expected to be back to full training next month.

"This is where I want to be and I enjoy playing my rugby here.

"I know it hasn't been the best of starts to the season for me with injury, but like last year I just want to come back fighting and push on to the next level again", said the Tipperary man.

Ireland wing Keith Earls (knee), out-half Ian Keatley (hip/groin) and wing Luke O'Dea (hamstring) have returned to training as preparations step-up for their back-to-back matches against Perpignan in the Heineken Cup, starting on December 8.
