O'Connor: We need Munster's intensity

Matt O'Connor (pictured) will demand that Leinster show "the intensity against Ulster" that Munster brought to Thomond Park last night.

The coach will face increased pressure after the Blues' dismal 28-13 defeat in the PRO12 League.

"I am pretty disappointed with the amount of errors we made," O'Connor said.

"We gave them opportunities at out end of the field. That's where Munster were very good.

"Once they were in front on the scoreboard, they made it very hard," he added.

This was the first time Leinster have lost out to Munster by 15 points or more since they were beaten 30-6 by their greatest rivals in the infamous 2006 Heineken Cup semi-final.

It brought back memories of that horror show, not from the magnitude of the occasion, but of Munster's physical superiority.

Anthony Foley's men played with undeniable passion and intensity to complete the League double over their rivals for the first time since 2008/2009.

Since then, Leinster have been the dominant force as they have racked up League doubles over Munster in 2009/2010 and 2012/2013 and the PRO12 title last season.
