North Kildare relaunch 7s after 60 years

NORTH Kildare RFC are re-launching their annual Easter Sunday 7s Tournament to celebrate 60 years since its inception as the Premier 7s Tournament in Leinster.

In 1954 the NK7s was started with the Colman Flynn Memorial Competition. It commemorates the tragic deaths of two players, Brendan Colman, fatally injured in a game, and Ernie Flynn, killed in a car accident. The Colman Flynn Trophy will once again be up for grabs on Sunday, April 20.

There will be a mens and ladies competition this year with perpetual trophies and cash prizes for the winning teams. All teams must pre-register through the North Kildare RFC Facebook page or on the Eventbrite link below.

The Match Day Registration and Fixtures Office will be open from 10am on the Sunday for those pre-registered to collect meal and drink vouchers.
