North East clubs set for league final testsThis season's Leinster Premier League Finals at U19 and U17 level are to be hosted by St Mary's College RFC, Templeville Road, this Sunday, March 9. This season's U19s final will be a heavyweight "Clash of the North East" with Navan and Ardee/Dundalk competing for the title.

The U17s final will also be an all north-east matchup with Navan, joining their U19s in the final, taking on a strong Skerries outfit. The sides have met four times this season with the score tied at 2-2.

Both competitions have been well supported by clubs around the province with 20 teams competing at U19s level and 37 teams at U17s.

The north east towns of Ardee, Dundalk, Navan and Skerries will travel down in good numbers to view their club teams in action.

We would also encourage as many neutrals to come along to watch some of the best players currently playing youth club rugby.

It promises to be an action-packed day with the U17s final kicking off proceedings at 12.30pm. followed by the U19s final at 2.30pm. Admission is €5 for adults with U18s free.
