Munster's main men back to wound Warriors

MUNSTER v Glasgow Warriors, Thomond Park, Saturday (KO 7.45)

Live TG4

This is already one of those ones Munster cannot afford to slip up in, partly because they have won five and lost four of their nine to reside outside the top four.

The Warriors are fresh from a demoralising 6-0 defeat to a depleted Leinster to muddy the clear waters of their form leading into last Friday.

As it stands, fifth-placed Munster will have to chase down third-placed Glasgow, who are just two points ahead of the southern province.

The expected involvement of backs Ronan O'Gara, Simon Zebo and Keith Earls and forwards Dave Kilcoyne, Donncha O'Callaghan and Donnacha Ryan will be welcomed by coach Rob Penney.

There could also be a turbo-boost in the back row as the steadily improving Tommy O'Donnell (inset) is beginning to deliver on his potential and number eight James Coughlan is available for the first time since September.

Verdict: Munster
