Leinster trio set for Clubs debut in Netherdale

Scotland Clubs v Ireland Clubs, Netherdale, tonight 7.30

Coach David O'Mahony will want Ireland to go 3-2 up in the fifth season of this novel international, originally set up as a reward for the amateur club players.

It is difficult to gauge the relative strengths of the teams. But, the Irish have key decision makers in goal-kicking machine Barry Keeshan at fly-half and captain Frank Cogan at number eight.

Overall, there are seven players from Leinster clubs, three of them will be making their debuts. They are Old Belvedere's David Mongan, St Mary's hooker Richie Sweeney and his clubmate Matt D'Arcy.

Clontarf provide three in centre Evan Ryan, lock Simon Crawford and openside Barry O'Mahony.
