Leinster went down at The Stoop to Harlequins but how the Boys in Blue rate?

ROB KEARNEY: Manned the backfield  well and showed the intent to counter from deep - 7.

DARRAGH FANNING: There were times he was at home and times when he struggled to think on his feet- 6.

GORDON D'ARCY: Did his best work in holding up ball carriers and slowing up 'Quins ball - 6.

IAN MADIGAN: His 6-from-6 was good enough to earn Leinster a losing bonus-point - 7.

LUKE FITZGERALD: He looked sharp without ever getting enough ball - 7.

JIMMY GOPPERTH: Leinster's best running weapon was much better here than in recent weeks - 7.

EOIN REDDAN: Not at his best. Struggled behind a retreating scrum and had one inexcusable block by Robson- 5.

JACK McGRATH: While the work rate was exemplary, the scrum did not function under pressure from Will Collier - 6.

SEAN CRONIN: The scrum was rocky. The lineout imperfect. Made mistakes in his carrying - 5.

MIKE ROSS: The anchorman could not stop Marler from driving up under him at the scrum - 5.

DEVIN TONER: The Ireland lock did his best work in defence of the maul. One hard charge rocked Brown - 6.

MIKE McCARTHY: The work-rate was there. He held his own in the physical exchanges - 6.

RHYS RUDDOCK: Leinster's finest player. He showed real leadership and a huge engine to keep his intensity - 9.

JORDI MURPHY: He was a physical presence. Getting better with every game after a long absence through injury - 7.

JAMIE HEASLIP: Not up to his high standards, partly due to what was happening in front of him in the scrum- 6.

ISAAC BOSS kicked poorly. ZANE KIRCHNER did what he could. JACK CONAN made an impressive impact. KANE DOUGLAS gave away an important penalty.
