Jennings hangs up Leinster boots

SHANE JENNINGS is to hang up his boots when the current season with Leinster runs its course.

The 33-year-old flanker was capped at all levels for Ireland - Schools, U19, U21, 'A' and senior international, representing Ireland 13 times at senior level.

Jennings (right) made his senior international debut against Argentina in Buenos Aires in June 2007 and last pulled on the green jersey against Scotland in March 2012, helping Ireland to a 32-14 victory in Lansdowne Road.

In the 2006/07 season, the former St Mary's College man enjoyed an title-winning season with the Leicester Tigers, making the move to the Premiership along with team-mate Leo Cullen.

He re-joined Leinster the following year, and went on to win three Heineken Cups.
