Italian job can put Reds back on winning track

THE men in red will brook no argument over their determination to continue their unbeaten record at home this season.

They shouldn't encounter too much resistance from a Treviso outfit that has won away from home just once since December 2012.

Munster were on an upward curve when the Scarlets put a rude stop to their trot at Parc Y Scarlets, bringing to an end five straight victories, and allowing Leinster to take a one-point lead at the head of the table.

Treviso have softened on their threat to leave the PRO12 next season. It is about time they put their playing threats to better use, and where it matters most.

Since Christmas time, the Italians have run up a bill of seven losses to be banked, just two points ahead of their compatriots Zebre at second from bottom.
