Irish club stars to shine

Ireland Clubs v Scotland Clubs, Anglesea Road, Tonight (KO 6.30)

COACH Conor Twomey will give out five new caps as Ireland bid to retain the 'Dal Riada' trophy - first contested last season - in this clubs international. The competition is designed to reward club players who have shown great consistency over the season. Seven Leinster-based players will start, with back rowers Simon Crawford, captain, Barry O'Mahony and centre Killian Lett all from Clontarf. St Mary's prop Robert Sweeney and number eight Hugh Hogan will balance the pack.
