Heineken Cup still a star attraction in primary schools

The Heineken Cup recently visited a number of South Dublin Primary Schools. There was great excitement and anticipation at the arrival of such a prestigious trophy in all four schools: The Good Shepherd NS (pictured above), St Attracta's NS, Divine Word NS and Our Lady of Wayside NS.

All classes in each of the schools got to get a good look at the trophy and De la Salle Palmerston YDO Robert McAlinden was on hand to field a variety of questions about the trophy and other rugby-related topics.

This was a great event for the children whose interest in rugby, in traditionally GAA schools, has been raised exponentially both with Ireland and Leinster's success and their introduction to the game through the tag rugby programme.
