Gutsy Treviso could pose some trouble to Munster's momentum

Benetton Treviso v Munster, Stadio Di Monigo, Tomorrow (LIVE SKY SPORTS 3, KO 2.35)

It wasn't a lifetime ago that this would be seen as a walk in the park through the rugby wilderness that is Stadio Monigo for the two-time Heineken Cup champions.

This theory does not hold water this time around.

Treviso have humbled Perpignan (9-8) in round one and almost nobbled Northampton Saints (21-18) before Christmas.

They are no pushovers. Moreover, they had a malfunctioning Munster in all sorts of bother at Thomond Park where their hit-and-run attitude gave them two tries and the lead by the end of the first quarter.

Thereafter, proper order was restored as Munster's power, organisation and experience drove them to a bonus-point win that did little to paper over the cracks of their individual and collective malaise. Then Munster recovered their mojo on the road to Perpignan to rocket back to the head of the betting as favourites to annex their third European Cup.

The winter snowstorm put the breaks on Munster's gathering momentum.

They were starting to show the sort of form that has made them a feared proposition in Europe since the turn of the millennium.

They will need five points tomorrow.

Verdict: Munster
