Fitzgerald back from injury for Zebre tie

LUKE FITZGERALD has finally fully recovered from an abdominal injury to take his place for Leinster against Zebre in the PRO12 League at The RDS tomorrow night.

The left wing  has played just once in two months and missed out on Ireland's tumultuous Six Nations campaign and restarts some way behind Dave Kearney and Andrew Trimble and Tommy Bowe in the international pecking order.

Coach Matt O'Connor is also able to absorb Ian Madigan, Fergus McFadden and Jordi Murphy back into the first team; resisting the urge to include Eoin Reddan and Martin Moore.

Twenty-one year old tight-head Tadhg Furlong will make his full home debut after two impressive performances away to the same Zebre and Cardiff Blues recently.

Isaac Boss will start at scrum-half inside Madigan and hooker Richardt Strauss will pack down in the middle of the front row.

LEINSTER (v Zebre): Z Kirchner; D Fanning, F McFadden, N Reid, L Fitzgerald; I Madigan, I Boss; M Bent, R Strauss, T Furlong, L Cullen (capt), M McCarthy, K McLaughlin, D Ryan, J Murphy. Replacements: A Dundon, J O'Connell, M Moore, T Denton, S Jennings; E Reddan, J Gopperth, B Macken.
