England career in Barritt's sight

SARACENS centre Brad Barritt is desperate to end a frustrating wait and launch his England career in the Six Nations, declaring: "I'd like to think my time has come."

Barritt has been on the fringes of selection and made his senior debut in a non-cap international against the NZ Maori in 2010.

"I'm hopeful of an England call-up and if one comes I'll take it with both hands," Barritt said.

Saints' Eustace forced to retire

Northampton Saints' forward Adam Eustace has been forced to retire from rugby with immediate effect after suffering a neck injury.

The 32-year-old, who could play lock or number eight, has been restricted to just four games for the Saints since moving from Gloucester in 2010.
