Dragons' Den stars share ideas at Templeville Road

The St Mary's College RFC Members Business Network took place recently for members to promote their businesses within the club and to share experiences and ideas.

The meeting took place in the clubhouse in Templeville Road. The club was fortunate to have two members of the Dragons' Den join them -- Bobby Kerr and Sean Gallagher.

As this was a special evening with such high profile speakers, the meeting was opened for members to invite non-club members along. As a result, the hall was packed with more than 100 people attending to hear what snippets of wisdom could be taken and implemented into their businesses.

The evening started with those who attended chatting over a coffee and sandwich, arranged by Marie in the club.

Bobby and Sean started by telling the group about their backgrounds and experience in business world. They discussed how they have approached the running of their businesses and how they adapted to a changing market to remain competitive.

Our thanks to Bobby and Sean for the time and support they gave. Both felt the Members Business Network concept was brilliant and it was a platform for us all to benefit from.

The next event is on Wednesday. Liam Birkett will address the group on marketing in the current environment and is open to all club members.
