Connacht's come to end chance has unlucky run

"In essence this is going to make us push forward even harder. Connacht are next up and it's a huge game because it's a tough place to go," he said.

"We'll take a lot of lessons out of the Munster game. Connacht are going to be a similar team around the breakdown. We'll put in a lot of work in this week."

Pat Lam's Connacht have a chip on both shoulders after getting so close to what could have been a season-changing victory at the RDS last week.

You don't always get what you deserve in this game. They know that better than most. Their problem is in backing up one great performance with another.

Their squad is thin, their list of injuries significant. The November internationals could have come at just the right time.
