Connacht out to show Chiefs the exit

Connacht v Exeter Chiefs, The Sportsground, Tomorrow (KO 3.15) Live Sky Sports 2

The individual one-on-one between Robbie Henshaw and Jack Nowell whets the appetite in what is almost guaranteed to be a winner-takes-all contest in Galway.

What a shame it is that Bundee Aki has been ruled out for 8-10 weeks.

The partnership with Henshaw looks a natural symmetry between like-minded competitors.

Maybe, it was just coincidence that Dave McSharry, the man who use to wear Aki's shirt, signed a two-year contract extension yesterday.

FAITHFUL

The former Templeogue College graduate will have his shot at reminding the Connacht faithful what he can bring to any serious argument.

The Westerners lost their unblemished home record to Edinburgh last Friday night.

They simply could not reproduce the same physical effort that they put out against the Irish provinces over the Christmas period.

They need to get back to that level or they will suffer a second straight defeat.
