Connacht in the hunt for third successive win

THE WESTERNERS are hunting their third win in succession for the first time this season.

Perhaps the campaign is turning for coach Pat Lam with news that former Leinster tight-head Nathan White and homegrown number eight Eoin McKeown are available again.

This has been balanced out by the loss of back-up scrum-half Paul O'Donohoe to a back problem and hooker Seán Henry to neck surgery.

You have to travel back in time to December 2011 to find the only time an Italian club has enjoyed the fruits of victory in Galway. That was Treviso. This is the time of the season when Connacht should be making good on the fact that the Italian club has few or no internationals.
