Clubs keen to compete in memory of Kieran

The Kieran Burke Perpetual Trophy takes place on Sunday week, January 31, in Kirwan Park, Kilternan from 10am.

The tournament was set up in honour of Leinster mascot Kieran Burke (pictured), who died of leukaemia in January 2004, aged six.

The tournament was devised by DLSP and first held in January 2005.

The organisers expect the tournament to run at maximum capacity in 2010 with 23 clubs already registered to participate.
