Clontarf women to return

CLONTARF Rugby are pleased to announce that women's rugby is set to return to the club for the first time in several years.

With the continued success of the Irish Women's team, there has been increased interest from women who are newcomers to the sport and also those looking to return to the game.

The club have put a management committee in place and there is a welcome meeting in Clontarf Rugby Club, Castle Avenue, on February 7 at 8pm, where players can meet up and get to know the coaches and one another. Training will commence the following week.

Clontarf are extremely proud of local lady Fiona Coghlan, who captained the Irish Women to Grand Slam glory last season and in time the club would hope to bring players through to provincial and national level.
