Clane rugby blitz a big hit

After weeks in the planning by Clane coaches Paul Fitzsimons and Aileen Leacy, the Good Friday Blitz kicked off at 2pm. The Leeds girls travelled that morning and showed no signs of being up early. Overall there were many fantastic displays of rugby from all four teams, showing that girl's rugby is truly on the rise in the Leinster province.

Clane played Leeds in the final game, with Leeds taking overall honours for the blitz.

Everyone enjoyed a great feast afterwards and mementoes were exchanged by team captains and coaches. For more information or if you are interested in playing rugby in Clane RFC, please e-mail: clanerugby@gmail.com
