Tommy Bowe was in fine form at The Aviva Stadium on Wednesday as Ulster prepared to battle it out with The Tigers in Europe once again.

The reduction of the European Cup from 24 clubs down to 20 has really removed the soft touches, except for the presence of Treviso in Pool Five.

Ulster have landed into a war zone where the minefields are rooted in Toulon and Leicester with The Scarlets just about making this a manageable quartet. First up, the Northern Province has to dispose of Leicester away

"We beat them over there last year and we know it's doable," said Bowe.

"They have been a little bit indifferent at the start of the season, but at Welford Road they're going to be really up for this game".

Indifferent is something of an understatement for the powerhouse midlands club.

Leicester have been blown away by Bath (45-0) and Gloucester (33-16), beaten by London Irish (22-19) at home, all recently, before edging out Harlequins 22-16 last Friday night.
