Leinster and Munster have been installed as the respective favourites for the Heineken and Amlin Challenge Cups by Ladbrokes Bookmakers, following kind draws for the quarter- and semi-finals yesterday.
Leinster have leapfrogged Northampton and Toulouse to be installed as the new 9/4 favourites to win the Heineken Cup.
Ulster face a tough task as they travel to take on Northampton Saints in the quarter-finals and are now 14/1 outsiders to win the competition for a second time.
Hayley O'Connor of Ladbrokes said: "Leinster have been outstanding in the pool stages which justifies their favourites tag at 9/4 but the Heineken Cup is full of surprises. The Tigers won't roll over in Dublin!
"Ulster's first quarter-final since 1999 is a big challenge but they've shown fantastic form and will put it up to Northampton."
Munster may have crashed out of the Heineken Cup but they are now the 2/1 favourites to win the Amlin Challenge Cup ahead of their quarter-final showdown with Brive.
