Best's back as Ulster triumph

ULSTER made it ten-out-of-ten in beating The Scarlets 19-12 as Ireland hooker Rory Best made his return to the PRO12 League at Parc Y Scarlets last night.

Fly-half Paddy Jackson booted 14 points and wing Andrew Trimble executed a first-half interception as The Scarlets were forced to kick a penalty for a losing bonus point in the last minute of the game.

This means the Northern Province move nine points clear of second-placed Scarlets with Leinster three further behind.

Right wing Trimble proved far more effective than Ireland sensation left wing Craig Gilroy.
