Bective seal title with three victories

On a glorious May day at Wanderers FC, Bective Rangers FC ran out worthy champions after winning all three games against Wanderers, Suttonians and St Mary's College.

The Donnybrook-based team won their second league title after their initial success in 2010, picking up the Kielys of Donnybrook Cup.

Wanderers won two of their three games and finished second, winning the Brother Joe Osborne Memorial Cup.

Guest of honour, Gerry Cully from the Children's Hospital, Crumlin, thanked all players and supporters for their fundraising efforts.

Many thanks to Pat Crimin of Kielys of Donnybrook for sponsoring the day – and Wanderers for hosting a great day of rugby.
