Ardee open day hits target

ARDEE Rugby Club Committee and players put on a hugely successful club open day despite the inclement weather recently.

Marquees were erected, flags were hung, the pig from Callaghan's Butchers, Ardee was put on the spit.

Bric-a-brac were priced and the finishing touches were added to Ardee's club rooms.

Festivities kicked off at 2pm with children's tag rugby games.

Tug-of-war and obstacle races for teams of all ages provided entertainment.

Tacking and kicking practice competitions put everyone through their paces.

Ardee Rugby Club committee would like to thank players, supporters, parents and everybody who helped out and supported organising a very successful club open day.

With a special thank you to Callaghan's Butchers, Ardee and Collon Vehicle Dismantlers.
