IPSWICH TOWN
IRELAND U21 cap Dylan Connolly has enjoyed more progress at Ipswich Town as he's made his debut for their U21/reserve side.
Connolly moved to Portman Road from Shelbourne last week, following protracted talks between the Reds and Mick McCarthy's outfit, and Ipswich showed just why they were so determined to sign the lad as he was immediately placed into the Town U21 side, managed by former Ireland man Mark Kennedy, Connolly making his debut in a 2-1 win over Millwall. "He'll play in the U21s at the start, but I've signed him with a view to playing with the first team," boss McCarthy said of Connolly.
