Voskamp debut a great eight show

Dutch stiker Johan Voskamp (pictured) had a debut to remember for Sparta Rotterdam at the weekend, notching up a tally that some strikers would consider a good season total.

Voskamp has been likened to former England international striking legend Alan Shearer, with his powerhouse displays and an amazing goal-scoring record which he enhanced on his debut for the Dutch second-tier side by notching up eight goals in the 12-1 win over Almere City.

Voskamp has been tipped by many as a future Dutch international striker and from this evidence, rightly so.

With this performance, Voskamp earned his place in the record books as the only player to ever score eight goals in a Jupiler League (Eerste Divisie) match.
