Pride burns at Scoil as Cillian leads way with Olympic torch

IT'S a day that Cillian Kirwan won't forget. He plays with the Scoil Uí Chonaill U16 hurlers and footballers.

He goes to school at St Fintan's of Sutton. The London 2012 Olympics will always have a special place in his heart.

Cillian (left) was the first GAA person in Dublin to handle the Olympic torch last Wednesday when he was chosen to represent the Fingal area. Bernard Brogan carried it later on it's journey. He handed over the torch to President Michael D Higgins at the Olympic Flame welcoming ceremony.

All at Scoil are so proud of Cillian's achievement.
