Over 60 years' coaching experience at latest clinic

The Coaches Forum are delighted to announce their latest coaching clinic, which takes place on April 9 and 10 in Coláiste Bríde, Clondalkin.

Coaching at the clinic will be American Bob Hurley Sr, who has almost 1,000 wins with St Anthony's High School in New Jersey. His teams have been rated either first or second in America on eight occasions.

He has over 30 years' coaching experience and five of his players have been chosen in the first round of the NBA draft. The recent best-seller The Miracle of St Anthony's outlines his coaching career with the school.

Coach Hurley is presently on the shortlist for the Basketball Hall of Fame (he has been announced as one of the final 15 from which five will be chosen).

Another American coach, Sean Reilly, will be present. He has over 30 years' experience coaching high school basketball with St Thomas Aquinas High School in Kansas. He was part of the Emerald Hoops coaching clinic in Limerick.

Places are limited and with these coaches it will fill quickly. Those interested should contact PJ Reidy on 087-2364400.
